SHMS Caux Library's Custom Search engines allows you to find accurate, relevant and up to date information related to a topic of your interest.

Based on ►Google's Search Technology, our Custom Search engines search only specialised websites related to your topic of interest, rather than the whole Internet.

HOW TO
 

Step 1 Choose the Custom Search engine related to your field of research.

Step 2 Feel free to structure your query following the simple example described below.

Step 3 TRY ALSO YOUR QUERY IN OTHER CUSTOM SEARCH ENGINES available on this page, in order to expand your results.
 

EXAMPLE

When using a Custom Search engine, think about how you would structure your query in Google Search (the example below uses the Food & Beverage Custom Search engine).

1. Typing Swiss wine returns too many results.
    
2. Typing "Swiss wine" (with the quotation marks) returns less results.
    
3. Typing "Swiss wine" chassela returns 8 results (results on the 2nd of June 2016).
